Perfect for cross country skiing or snow shoeing, the Ski Kit attaches to the wheel axle with a push button system. The adjustable, lightweight tow bars connect to the trailer side mounts and lead to a padded hip harness. Tow bars connect to the harness where multiple attachment points allow for a perfect fit.

This is our Excellent Adventure Thru-Axle. It upgrades your bike's rear end for hauling cargo trailers, should you feel like taking Rufus along on your errands. Extensive product testing with our Bill and Ted Trailers provided an "awesome experience," but time travel remains a risky endeavor. Designed for use with slotted horizontal or vertical single-position dropouts, the Excellent Adventure Axle is compatible only with 12 x 148mm hubs. Compatible Surly models include Skid Loader, our compact electric cargo bike, as well as Karate Monkey, Krampus, Grappler, Ogre, Lowside, ECR, and Troll. Once again, the 12 x 148mm hub requirement cannot be overstated. Surly's Bill Trailer is brilliantly engineered to carry almost everything! This seriously stout workhorse is built from chromoly with stainless-steel hardware for excellent durability and it rolls on quality 16-inch wheels and tires. There are even fenders. The trailer sits perfectly level as you ride, so even heavy and bulky items stay secure. You can tote up to 300 pounds of whatever on this bad boy! A skewer for your Surly Trailer.

A Burley Ballz Thru Axle is required for any bike with a 12mm rear thru axle to use the Coho XC (stock thru axles are not able to accommodate any sort of axle mounted hitch system). These bobbins are made by the Robert Axle Project and are identical to the bobbins that came with your original BOB skewer.
