Granturismo SLR is a racing bike designed to bring out the utmost performance and comfort. With Granturismo SLR you will be able to travel long distances, minimizing postural stress thanks to the special endurance geometries and to the ACTIFLEX 2.0 system, a renewed version of the rear microshock absorber developed in 2017 for the Cento10 NDR. The frame's geometries play a fundamental role when it comes to endurance bikes. To guarantee the highest racing and comfort levels, different frame tube proportions must be taken into account. The position is slightly shorter (less reach compared to bikes with traditional racing geometries) and higher (greater stack in comparison to racing geometries). The carbon mix used for Granturismo SLR is HUS-MOD combined with Liquid Crystal Polymer, the special fiber incorporated in the carbon mesh that adds vertical elasticity while increasing torsional stiffness. This solution is also widely used in other top-range products such as Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR. When you’re spending hours on the saddle, even small details and enhancements can reduce fatigue. So, we've added a number of characteristics derived from Filante SLR (our aerodynamic competition bike). In addition to the optimized tube section, we've considered the very wide fork crown, the integrated monocoque handlebar, and total cable integration.

Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic bicycle with a significantly improved stiffness-to-weight ratio. We used the same materials and technology as in the construction of the Wilier 0 SLR. Filante SLR was designed to maximize aerodynamic performance in real environmental conditions. The assembled bike with top-of-the-range specifications weighs 6.8 kg. The Filante monocoque handlebar is made of the same carbon we use for the Wilier 0 SLR. Thanks to the different types of carbon we used in combination with the Liquid-Crystal Polymer, the unique fiber positioning, and the construction technology, we have reached an absolute level of lightness and stiffness. The new integrated carbon monocoque Filante Bar handlebar houses the brake and derailleur cables, directing them toward the inside of the frame. Its design is very simple, with sinuous and rounded lines for maximum grip ergonomics.

With Rave SLR we have set our sights on new horizons, creating a product with two separate souls, perfect for all-road, perfect for gravel, but the same incredible racing inclination. Rave SLR will be a new cycling experience, unexpected for many. To create a reactive frame, we've channeled all the experience gained in the use of technopolymers, mixing carbon with special viscoelastic fibers such as Liquid Crystal Polymers. In addition to being lightweight, the 0-Bar and J-Bar monocoque handlebars available on the Rave SLR, house the brake and controls cables, routing them inside the frame. The handlebar and stem combo feature an essential design, with sinuous and rounded lines to guarantee the best possible ergonomic grip and provide the Rave SLR with the elegance of Wilier Triestina's high-end products.

The V1-R may be the first monocoque frame in Colnago's stable that's light enough to hold its own with other top-end monocoque framesets. We weighed a 54cm frame with seat collar and headset at 1,080g, which puts it squarely on the average mark of the other Italian monocoque frames you'll see in the pro peloton. In fact, losing weight is something of a theme for the V1-R. It drops a claimed 150 grams compared to its predecessor, the Colnago M10. In addition to refined tube shaping and the world's best carbon fiber, small details like carbon rear dropouts and direct-mount brakes no doubt contribute by eliminating unnecessary hardware.

The original inspiration for the Wolverine was “monster cross”, but it is seriously so much more.
